iPad Successor Likely to Be Delayed Until June

Apple is likely to release the next version of its iPad tablet PC a few months later than originally expected, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing a report by Taiwan's Yuanta Securities.

The report said due to delayed production at manufacturer Hon Hai Precision Industry of Taiwan, the device's launch is forecast to be postponed to June.

Earlier this month the Wall Street Journal reported that Apple began production of the new iPad equipped with a built-in camera and a faster processor. It is likely to be thinner and lighter than its predecessor.
